How do I tell my doctor I think I might have POTS. I've had ongoing issues with my heart for years and many symptoms of POTS but the doctors office refuses to take me seriously. I went and had a 48 hour ecg recently but I have yet to get the results. How can I make my life easier and less restrictive in what I do?

I've recently been started with 2.5 midodrine and it may sound silly but can I lie down at all with it during the day?

Started Strattera a little over a week ago and 2 days ago entered a bad POTS flare. Is it likely they’re related? I had some trouble sleeping from the Strattera up until a few days ago when it cleared up (about a day before the flare I’d say.) If this is related do you think it’ll get better as I adjust more too? I’m worried a stimulant would just do the same if I had to switch medicine but I really need something for energy and focus with school soon. :(

Does anyone have experience with taking POTS medication while pregnant? If so what have you all used that are safe, and experiences with that. I'm going to talk with my doctor, but wanted ask here as well.

Does anyone know how to get over brain fog while reading. I have such a hard time reading anything without pictures. Like I can read manga, but I can’t read recipes or books or medical papers or anything, and I used to be great at reading. I just literally can’t understand what I’m reading anymore and I don’t know how to fix that.

I was recently diagnosed with POTS and struggle a lot with dizziness and fatigue. My doctor highly recommended that I wear compression socks especially because I work as a nanny so lots of up and down. I’ve started wearing them at home, but not for work or anything in public. Idk why I’m so embarrassed. Anyone else struggle with feeling like this or have tips to make me feel more confident in myself?
