my doctor has given me an informal diagnosis of POTS while awaiting confirmation from cardiology, but had told me there's no treatment other than increasing salt and fluid intake. is there really no medicines or other treatments I can try to make my symptoms manageable? I have multiple chronic illnesses so want to reduce the symptoms I can to help me cope with the ones I cannot

Hi POTS peoples! How many of you also have been diagnosed with EDS? And if you were, how did you get that diagnosed? I’m currently seeking a diagnosis, and I’ve found it’s very common to have both

After diagnosing me with EDS my consultant said he thinks I have POTS. I had a 24hr ECG abd have just been told it was satisfactory despite my heart rate being 160 after standing. I'm confused... what does this actually mean?

I’ve recently been diagnosed with POTS and trying some lifestyle techniques to see if there’s any improvement. It feels like there is such a long journey ahead of me and it’s hard to keep positive. How likely is it that I will actually find a way to be okay again?

What is the best way to help a pots attack. I’m out of town this weekend and have been having them a couple times a day for months now. But it’s really bothersome when I’m busy. How do you get them better/to stop?

How do you deal with getting dizzy at the gym and avoiding overdoing your workout? Sometimes I go in feeling superhuman and incredibly focused, but after I get done or close to the end of my cardio, I realize I've pushed myself way too hard and now I'm gonna feel bad for the rest of the day.

Any tips for someone just starting out using a cane? I'm new to mobility aids and any helpful advice is welcome. Using a cane has been great for my overall health and my legs, but my arms/ hands are suffering. Also, any cool queer, poc, and/or woman owned places to buy canes from?
