I’m currently on Paxil since my cardiologist has seen improvements in others with pots on it

I’m on fludrocortisone and propranolol. They’ve helped me tremendously!

I’m on midordrine, it helps! But fludrocortisone helped even more, it just gave me some nasty side effects.

@Belugabear I’m currently on midodrine too! I also took fludrocortisone but I ended up in the ER for that one.

I’m on metoprolol and I love it so far, it helps a lot with my dizziness most days. I used to be on propranolol but was put on it by a Dr who didn’t really believe that I had POTS so was told to take it as needed and I wasn’t sure when that was so I almost never too it

I'm on fludrocort (minimal effects), propranolol (as needed) and IV saline daily specifically for pots I also take guanfacine and Adderall for different reasons but hear it can help with POTS (for me it doesn't, guanfacine lowers my BP too much but I need it for PTSD night terrors. Adderall raises my bp so I'm less likely to faint but triggers adrenaline dumps and makes me tacky) My treatment plan works great!! It's just taken a long time to find exactly what I need

Ivabradine but still have the issue of my bp spiking which makes me feel crappy instead of heart rate

@Sparkle23 I’m just about to start Ivabradine for pots/Dysautonomia. I too get these random BP drops and spikes, racing pounding heart and it makes me feel so out of it.

@Sparkle23 I’m taking Ivabradine as well and have moments of high heart rate and feeling very bad in general. How do you know it your BP that is spiking when you begin feeling bad?

I’m on bisoprolol which helps a bit! Just a warning to those on ivabradine, it’s very dangerous to take this with ondansetron 💜

I’ve tried Metoprolol and it worked but it helped lower my heart rate but it still wasn’t controlled. So I started Diltiazem and it works really well

Ivabradine and it’s worked great! (but drs aren’t v sure of my diagnosis and i could have a different kind of dysautonomia 🧐 )

@sleepyspice Dr has also told me I have some form of dysautonomia but he’s not exactly sure it’s POTS 🤷🏾‍♀️

My doctor started me on midodrine 3 days ago; it's my first medicine for this condition.

I've been on bisoprolol and fludrocortisone for about 2 years now, the combination of the two works really well for me.

      I’m on midodrine and Propanolol

I’ve used propanalol, it helped my heart rate a lot but dropped my bp too low so I had to stop it
