Is it safe to drink alcohol with POTS?

Is drinking alcohol with POTS safe? Ive dranken a few times before but the last time i did i got this painful like, tense pain near my heart? I thought it was because of a medication im on because that was the only difference since i had last dranken but the medication wouldnt cause heart pain if combined with alcohol I was also incredibly nauseas (it was tequila though so i mean it was nasty af which mightve caused the nausea too?

According to John Hopkins Medicine: “Certain foods or drinks can have an adverse effect on POTS symptoms in some patients. For example, alcohol almost always aggravates POTS. It diverts blood away from the central circulation to the skin and increases loss of fluids through urine.” So definitely unpleasant, if not unsafe?
