Alike Groupchat Guidelines

Updated: Aug 6, 2023

Welcome to the Alike groupchat guidelines
! We are thrilled to have you join our new dynamic and engaging communities. As you embark on this exciting journey with us, we want to provide you with the complete set of guidelines that will ensure that every user has an engaging, positive, and truly exceptional experience

Our primary goal is to foster a supporting and uplifting environment where individuals can connect, share insights, and learn from one another. These guidelines are designed to promote healthy and constructive conversations, mutual respect, and the highest standard of courtesy that we aim to reach each day at Alike.

Be kind and respectful: Treat fellow users with respect and kindness, and engage in constructive discussions.

No hate speech, bullying, or harassment: Bullying of any kind is not allowed. Hurtful comments about things like race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, culture, or identity will not be tolerated. We do not condone foul language. Inappropriate images, GIFs, or videos will also not be tolerated.

No suicide or self-injury advocacy: Content that advocates for or glorifies suicide or self-harm is prohibited. Don’t share information or strategies that would assist in self-injury, eating disorders, or suicide.

Keep private information discrete: Don’t share any private information, yours or someone else’s. Don’t share phone numbers, email addresses, social security numbers, or other highly personal information in the chat.

No promotions or spam: Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links are not allowed. You can send links to things like recipes, articles, or useful products, as long as you do not receive monetary compensation for doing so (i.e. no affiliate links).

Report wisely: Report any content that goes against the Alike community guidelines or the guidelines set forth in the group. However, don’t report messages that aren’t breaking any rules just because you don’t like or don’t agree with them.

Consult a healthcare professional: While our community is a valuable resource, please remember that we are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new medication or treatment.

Actively participate: Respond to messages when you can help, engage in group challenges and discussions, and share new ideas and strategies with the group. You will get out what you put into the group! We believe that by adhering to these guidelines, we will create a space where knowledge flourishes, connections thrive, and everyone feels empowered to share and learn.

Together, let’s build an inspiring community that celebrates the pursuit of health and wellness. Welcome once again to the newest form of Alike community! We are excited to have you on board and we can’t wait to see the incredible discussions, insights, and connections that will unfold within our community. Wishing you an enriching and fulfilling journey ahead!

Best Regards,
Alike Health
