is there such a thing as getting tooth stains from taking too many tums/alka seltzer chews? I've had to take even more than usual the last couple months and my bottom teeth are getting kind of discolored but aren't in pain even though I brush them pretty regularly. is there anything I can do to remedy this ?

i've been experiencing symptoms like feeling lightheaded, weak, stomach pain, extreme nausea, pooping a bit green (not eating anything green), and some trouble staying asleep. i don't know what's going on, or if it's some anxiety mixed with food poisoning and late sleeping times, but maybe some reassurance that i'm going to be okay would be nice? or some help with what i could do for this nausea and pain? thank you

I have GERD and Eosinophlic Esophagitis. I also habe always had unexplainable (as of yet) trouble sleeping. It was mentioned to me recently that sleep apnea is pretty commonly comorbid with GERD, and the possibility of me having sleep apnea is pretty high. My question is, if you are a person with both GERD/EOE/etc and sleep apnea, and you use a CPAP machine at night, how big of difference does it make for you? does it improve your quality of sleep? Does it ease symptoms of GERD etc.? Is it big enough of a difference to justify trying to get in to see a sleep specialist? For context, my town has a huge shortage of sleep specialists, so securing an appointment is difficult and a long process, so I don't necessarily want to go through the whole process if it won't make that much of a difference

is there an alternative to having an endoscopy? I've had acid reflux every day since January 2022 and nothing works. My insurance is crap and I can't afford an endoscopy; because of my weight I'd have to go into a hospital. I just want to know what's causing this. No medication or supplement works.

What do you find causes acid reflux flare-ups for you? I've been experiencing it at a much greater frequency the past couple weeks than I have in a long time. In fact, its never made me feel nauseous in this way before, where I'm feeling it somewhat nightly as I'm going to bed. It could be related to other colds/flus I've been around (working with children), but I'm wondering if it's something else. My eating habits have not been different to my awareness (although I'm not great with tracking that)

How to deal with health anxiety? I have reflux. I always worry it will turn into something worse even though it only bothers me occasionally.

So I have silent reflux and I have noticed the past three days it have been flaring up, stomach feels bleh, dry cough and it won’t go away even with taking my PPI and tums. I just started a PPI a week ago. Not to sure if it just needs time to still kick in.
