Hi! So I’m looking for people to chat to about supposedly ‘random’ stomach and GI issues - I’ve been passed around to several different doctors for the past four years and no one seems to know what’s causing my problems. My symptoms include: - bloating - both lower and upper abdominal pain - GERD - heavily varied bowel movements (I can have three completely different stools in one day, some are very solid, some quite loose etc) - nausea - lower abdominal cramping leading up to a bowel movement - struggle with weight gain So far all I’ve been told is that I probably have GERD (again, no official diagnosis), I have severe health anxiety but other than that I’m ‘completely healthy’. I’ve had internal and abdominal ultrasounds and a gastric emptying scan, both of which came back clear. If anyone has the same issues as me please reach out! I’m desperate to meet more people with similar problems and maybe even figure out a starting point for a diagnosis :)

One user mentioned that their symptoms, including bloating, abdominal pain, and nausea, were similar to yours. They suggested trying a gluten-free diet, as it could be a sign of food intolerance. Another user mentioned that the symptoms could be related to IBS, which can cause anxiety or worsen due to stress. Foods can also exacerbate IBS symptoms.
