Unknown Stomach Issue: Heavy Full Feeling and Nausea

Im really unwell w an unknown stomach issue anyway but recently i have such a heavy full feeling right in my upper abdomen directly in my stomach it feels like a balloon or a heavy weight that shouldn't be there in my tummy. I'm so nauseous too, and i have a feeling like a lump in my throat i feel like i need to swallow down but there's nothing to swallow? my stomach also aches quite a lot when it happens. This happens multiple times a day everyday for ages now. Does this sound like reflux?!

      This sounds like gastritis to me. It’s exactly how I was when first diagnosed. You need to eat a bland diet and manager your stress. Your doctor can give you PPI meds to settle down the acid.

      It definitely sounds like reflux, but also like when I get a lot of mucus in my tummy (I say as someone with chronic reflux). Reflux can cause fierce post nasal drip which can cause a full feeling + cramping+nausea.

        @zellarius try eating less fat, smaller meals, chewing food thoroughly and eating slowly. drinking soy milk helps too but drink it slowly.

          @zellarius thank you :) yeah defo trying everything i can, when i can eat i’m trying to be careful what and how quickly i eat it!

        @Drewsdad08 defo trying to get both of those tests asap but they rly aren’t taking me seriously at all! I’ll keep pushing as i know i rly need those tests. Thinking either gastritis or an ulcer

      It does sound like it's acid reflux related, as I too am dealing with the same issues. I have just found that I have gallstones as well, after have 3 gallstones attacks. (If you had a gallstone attack, believe me, you would know. It's the most excruciating pain). But many people have gallstones without having systems. Could be something worth getting checked though. I too am still am still dealing with the unknown of my digestive issues. All I can say is, keep looking for answers. And work your way towards and a healthier lifestyle if not already.

        @RaeOfSunshineee oh i’m rly sorry to hear that get well soon :( i’ve had my gall bladder checked - they couldn’t find stones but said i have biliary sludge?? no clue if that’s in relation. Feeling this is either gastritis or an ulcer i’m not sure which but hoping for some answers asap
