I could really use some help dealing with stress. I have severe TMJ pain that only gets worse when I'm stressed or when the weather is cold and rainy and it's both of those things right now where I am.
I just got diagnosed with TMJ (tempomandibular joints) today any tips from people who also have that disorder.

My jaw pops and cracks and gets stiff easily. So far there's no pain, but my orthodontist suspects that I have TMJ. I want to look more into it as it's getting worse, but I don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

Has anyone used a chiropractor for TMJD? The right side of my jaw will not stop getting stuck or clicking in one spot and it’s been driving me crazy for months. I think it’s from grinding teeth at night but can’t afford a quality mouthguard right now to see if that helps.
Hey! I'm new to alike health. I'm a 23 year old female with so much anxiety it's ridiculous. I was diagnosed with TMJD disorder in early 2019. It has its ebbs and flows, but recently it's been in a flare up for almost 6 months. Does anyone else have ear issues when it comes to TMJD? I get ear congestion and pain frequently, despite my ears being healthy.
I have many fears about getting TMJ surgery. my anxiety fears I will feel too isolated and locked in the post op stage when the jaw is locked together with wire. Any suggestions on what may help?

Possible TMJ: I am experiencing jaw pain and occasional headaches on my temples. I am now experiencing sharp pains on my jaws that last only a few moments and will usually subside when I readjust my bite. It continues to be harder and harder to chew. Is anyone experiencing these symptoms and if so what type of treatment have you tried?

My dentist believes my case involves the masseter muscle more than the jaw joint itself so apologies if this is in the wrong section. My question is if anyone has noticed pressure around/behind their eyes in correlation with the overuse of their jaw muscles? (My overuse is most likely a result of clenching my jaw due to anxiety)

Hello! I have TMJ and I absolutely hate the dentist because of it. I have such a hard time keeping my mouth open the whole time. They give me a red block to hold it open and that's helpful but it hurts pretty badly. After the dentist visit I'll be in pain for 12-48 hours. I do use ibuprofen. What do y'all do to make the dentist less painful?

Has anyone been successful in treating their tmj with natural herb or medicines? I use cannabis and have a card and that has worked amazingly well but if it rains sometimes the TMJ still is there.
