So I was diagnosed in 2013 with lymphedema.I was never put on medication the only thing I was told was to wear compression socks & comfortable shoes. I have pretty much had a handle on it but this last flare up has lasted a week now & I can't wear anything but slides, I start my new job next week & can't even get my left foot into a real shoe. Someone plz give me some advice.
What stage of Lymphedema is not reversible?
how to deal with the pain. my legs get stiff and they swell up when I'm up but when I lay down they go down. what type of foods should I be eating?
my legs hurt really bad during the day and when I sit down it's really hard to get back up. what can I do to help the pain in my legs ? my doctor doesn't wanna see me till next month.
my lymphedema is in my legs. left leg is the worse. I can control the swelling to a minimum but not the pain. I have days where my legs feel so heavy, weak and hard to walk. at times my knees bother me too. Is this normal?
Currently I’m not on any medication for lymphedema only my blood pressure medication and water pills I’ve always taken and my blood pressure is really good & I use to get wrapped but my compression stockings & my water pills in my blood pressure medicine exercise, walking & dancing have been working good for me, haven’t slept in my bed in almost a year I sleep in my lift chair but my planning on getting me a craftmatic bed to see if that will help me
Has anyone considered the surgical options?
Hi, I’ve dealt with primary lymphedema since I was 9 years old but was officially diagnosed at 19. Currently trying to figure out how to improve my lifestyle to improve my condition.
