Hi everyone , wanted to see how everyone is doing? I have decided for myself at this time not to return to Rheumatologist. All the medications they have given me has had side effects. So just dealing with the pain and taking it one day at a time. Would love to hear from other’s.

Living with Chronic Pain: My Story

Hello "people like me". this is my first post and I think I joined to find something that maybe I haven't tried to alleviate the pain and frustration I have in my everyday life. I am not someone that moans about pain and such like and I tend to understand that people I work with,etc do not want to hear my problems. My pain is not always visible but is always there and I wished I could cope with it better. I wished I could do the things I used to do or that my peers still do. I have a great social life but I am getting less and less able to keep up anymore. I just wanted to vent with people who understand this. xx

Gabapentin Prescription Not Renewed

So pain management decided not to renew my gabapentin prescription since I've started on Lyrica, so we'll see how this goes. On another note I'm starting to feel quite a bit better than I was over the weekend. Just gotta finish getting this crud out of my lungs and I'll be just fine.

Dealing with Arthritis Pain: My Struggle Today

Really struggling with horrible knee pain today. Was told the type of arthritis I have couldn't be prescribed anything strong. I've tried Diclofenac gel and that didn't do anything for me, so I end up taking ibuprofen almost like it's candy, which I know isn't good, but when I have to stand on my feet for work I have to try something.

Dealing with Knee Pain Without Replacement Surgery

I am 55 years old & my knees have been bone on bone for many years. I get Synvisc One injections & Cortisone in between those. The pain is getting worse now & it's even bad after those injections. My problem is, I don't want to get knee replacements. Friends & family tell me to get them done allll the time. I've heard too many horror stories in regards to things going wrong with the replacements or still having pain with them or them just not working at all. What do you non-knee replacement having people do to help with your pain?

I have severe arthritis of my shoulders and now i have hip pain too. My arthritis is spreading. Im doing physical therapy for now for my shoulders. Hi I have OA in hips and coming in knees. I am doing acupuncture, laser, PT and taking CBD oil,, Tylenol and a little Advil. I just had a Cortizone shot today not in hip but in bursitis ? area. I would like to talk to people about what is working for you. cheers
