Anyone else here with fibromyalgia, CKD3, prediabetes, and chronic idiopathic urticaria?
Hi all…I’m mentally taking a toll with all the info given to me by doctors and research online. A lot has been back and forth and I just got diagnosed 4-5 days ago with Lupus nephritis. My main concerns are as follows if anyone has any advice or input please❤️ (Also I’m 24 if anyone can relate by age) 1. How do you maintain muscle or mass to be able to do all the sports/hobbies you like to do? Especially with lack of protein intake 2. Any hopes that I’ll live a long healthy life if I maintain this renal diet?…how fast can you jump from stage 3 to 4 3. I’m taking so many meds that are really screwing with my energy and happiness, is this for months? Years? Life? 4. Do you still enjoy a French fry from time to time?… any small bite of the things you used to love to eat? Thank you!

With so many medications and the side effects, are there any natural ways to fight this disease?
Hi! I have stage IV kidney disease caused by lupus. My GFR is 20, but I cannot be referred to the transplant clinic at my facility without it “staying under” 20 for three labs in a row. One of the things I struggle with is knowing how long I can last until I start to need dialysis. I know it is an impossible question, but I’d love to hear other experiences. Did you make it 2 years from this point of having a GFR of 20? 5 year? More? It is hard to plan my future when this is so unclear to me, although I suppose that’s true to some extent for everyone.
what are thing you have learned from having your illness that makes living with an illness easier any tips and tricks?
Has anyone had a kidney biopsy? I’m afraid but my dr wants me to have one. My creatine protein ratios? Are off the charts. But she said it could just be my diabetes 2 although it’s not that bad. She said it could be nothing or cancer.
