Hi all…I’m mentally taking a toll with all the info given to me by doctors and research online. A lot has been back and forth and I just got diagnosed 4-5 days ago with Lupus nephritis. My main concerns are as follows if anyone has any advice or input please❤️ (Also I’m 24 if anyone can relate by age) 1. How do you maintain muscle or mass to be able to do all the sports/hobbies you like to do? Especially with lack of protein intake 2. Any hopes that I’ll live a long healthy life if I maintain this renal diet?…how fast can you jump from stage 3 to 4 3. I’m taking so many meds that are really screwing with my energy and happiness, is this for months? Years? Life? 4. Do you still enjoy a French fry from time to time?… any small bite of the things you used to love to eat? Thank you!

Hey, I'm not 24 but was put into dialysis at 25 been vibing for 9 years now; yes you can still enjoy food you love but in moderation once & awhile, for the medicine some medicine can mess your energy level its best to talk to your doctor about what can be done and what you can take to help. And lastly the best place for research I've found to be helpful is Fresenius. They have tons of helpful info, plus they have some amazing recipes to suit your diet(renal). https://www.freseniuskidneycare.com/kidney-disease
