Prediabetes is a condition where blood sugar level is higher than normal but It's not high enough to be considered type 2 diabetes. Even though diabetes symptoms are not present at this point, the long-term damage of diabetes may already be starting. With lifestyle changes, though, blood sugar level can brought back to normal and can prevent progression to type 2 diabetes.
