Can depression symptoms ever go away or will I always feel little interest, have low energy and feel slightly sad forever? it's better than the lows but I would like to feel joy again.

hey! i’m new to this app and looking to meet people who suffer like i do, but we are so strong! 💪🏻 i have bulimia in remission, originally diagnosed back in 2018 but relapsed late last year but am now back in remission 💪🏻 looking for some motivation and tips to lose weight healthily and some friends with bipolar disorder as i feel very alone with my disorder. i have to take both lithium and depakote as they misdiagnosed me for years with BPD when it turns out i only have traits of the disorder and that it’s type I bipolar disorder! it’s nice to meet you all!

Dealing with the aftermath of a manic episode

Hi all, this is my first time using this app. I was just diagnosed with Bipolar I with psychotic features, most recent episode manic. I had to spend 10 days inpatient being monitored while they figured out a medication regimen for me. I don’t remember a lot of the manic episode, but I know I said some pretty awful things. As a result, my 3-year relationship is on rocky ground and might end. How do y’all make amends (if possible) for manic episodes afterwards, especially ones that spun out of control?

Reprogramming My Mind for Positive Mental Health

I find that reprogramming my mind, forming new and positive connections in my brain is very helpful. Affirmations, practicing gratitude, believing in my own healing, and just directing my thoughts towards positivity and maintaining hope. It keeps me out of depression. Some days are easier than others. It's a lot of work but worth it. My mental health is so important. I am thankful for the day I FINALLY decided to change my own life by changing the direction of my thoughts.

Struggling to Take My Medications

Does anyone else struggle with taking meds? like I am fully aware that I need these medications every day to keep my episodes manageable, however it is so extremely hard to actually take them. I don't want to take them, but I know I need them so I try but it's hard to force myself to take them everyday
