How do you deal with the pain of chronic pancreatitis? I find myself in the ER at least every couple of weeks because the pain is so bad.

Hi I'm new here and and was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis last night at the hospital. I have no pain and have no idea anything was Wrong other than I started having a strange warm flushing feeling starting at my neck and going down my body. I also have high blood pressure and recently started taking medication for that and it seems to be helping. The flushing feeling comes with tingling and a very weird sensation in my body, But other than that I've been relatively healthy and never experienced anything like this before. Is this something you experienced with pancreatitis?

are there any supplements you take to help your condition? How do you find the motivation to get things done? What pain medications have you found that help you the best? I'm in physical therapy for my bone-on-bone right knee, and my left shoulder for severe muscle wasting and the humerus is to high up in the joint. Also I have recurrent pancreatitis, they don't know yet I'd it's chronic, but I'm on creon. For those with pancreatitis how long before you could get to 25%-30% calories from food. I've tried but I get a mild/moderate flare up each time and just go on liquids, soft foods and fat free protien shakes and fairlife fat free milk. How do you deal with the fatigue from lupus ELS and flares and fibromyalgia and flares? ask me anything! I'm an open book.

Hi people. This goes out to those who have digestive diseases/disorders who have been hospitalized for a long time: Has anyone experienced a "burning" feeling in your mouth when you eat food? It doesn't feel like an allergy. More like my brain is saying "this food is spicy". Keep in mind, I had to recover from a pancreatitis flair and couldn't eat ANYTHING for 1/2 a month while I was in the hospital and had to slowly re-introduce food back into my life. I've been fine for a while, but all of a sudden it's like the textures of the foods are unknown to me. Thoughts would be appreciated.
