No major surgeries or procedures but I did have a drain put in a big one on my side last October, it was uncomfortable and it got infected, and I ended up needing a blood transfusion. They put in a different one after all uthat happened and after going to the hospital at the beginning of September I haven't had to go back after 7 hospitalizations between May and October ranging from 4 to 13 days.

That’s awesome! I have a stent in right now to drain it now, I too got an infection and had to have it redone. I’m hoping this fixes everything.

I had 6 or 7 cysts and had to have 3 different drains, all different times, to get rid of them.

I was in hospitals for half the year and had a picc line to get really strong daily antibiotics. Once I was out of the hospitals I had to do daily infusions to continue working on the infection. My white blood cell count was 52,000.

Oh my! I just have one GIANT one. I had major surgery to have my stomach sewn to pancreas but scare tissue closed the hole. Now I’m dealing with stents. Ugh!

Do any of you with pancreatic problems have cystic fibrosis or PCD ( primary ciliary dyskinesia)? I have been using prescription pancreatic enzymes to keep my chronic pancreatitis in check. I do have some pancreatic cysts, but they haven't been "drain-worthy". You guys are rock stars 🌟!!!

I had several major surgeries last year, 11 drains to drain out infection. Traumatizing to say the least

Yes, 2017. First they went in endoscopically and tried the drainage into the stomach but it didn't work so they went in through the side and I had a drainage bag for a couple weeks. It was huge and they said it was about to rupture. I suspect I have another.
