First time posting! Any advice on whether it's worth buying a tens unit for my chronic back and shoulder pain (due to long covid)? I currently use heat-packs and over-the-counter pain killers but there's very little relief.
hey, been on a waiting list for a long covid rehab clinic & ive finally got an appointment! has anyone already done this? don't know what to expect...
hey all. i was just curious if this ever gets easier? Long covid and complications really lowered my standard of living. Everyone said give it time, give it time but.. I'm giving it time and time's just making me more frustrated, 9 months on.
Has anyone developed prediabetes after COVID? I've had high fasting numbers before COVID but the doctors never cared about them even when I questioned it. I was told it was common for someone overweight with symptoms of PCOS. But after COVID checking my blood sugar seems to be something they keep wanting to do. I feel the differences depending on some meals or if I fast too long for any reason. More than before COVID. I just moved and really don't know what I should address with a new doctor.
Infected with the covid 19 virus in early August of 2021 and was discharged on September 21, 2022. I was intubated and in a coma for five weeks and on a ventilator for 300 days. I am on no supplemental oxygen and continuing my rehabilitation in Rochester, NY. I am looking for people who have similar stories. Best to all, Mark

Long Covid, Post Covid...I'm almost 2 months out and still feeling crappy! I'm seeing a cardiologist next week for what I believe is Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia. Anyone experience heart racing, shortness of breath, and fatigue?
So tired… post COVID, headaches, dizziness
I have had symptoms since covid in Jan. Every one tells me it will get better. I notice some improvement, but not a lot. Is that true for anyone here?
Anyone else struggling with bouncing back from long covid? Any tips/tricks you’ve found that have helped at all?
What symptoms/side effects are you battling?
Do you guys have cardiac symptoms? How do you manage them? I have issues with my heart rate a lot, like my resting heart rate was like 60 to 80 before, now it's like 40 to 60, but when I move around, even light exercise like walking puts me into the 120s. My blood pressure also has started creeping up. I used to sit at around 110/70, now I'm like 135/85. My doctors are optimistic that it'll get better with time and don't want to resort to medication yet, but I'm still really worried. I'm trying to exercise more to get my heart stronger and lower my blood pressure, and I've also been donating blood per my cardiologists suggestion.
After having Covid, and, trying to recover, I experienced the worst gripping anxiety and panic for no reason after I had supposedly gotten better. Is anyone else struggling with the severe anxiety and brain fog as bad, and, what are your experiences with it?
should I be getting treatment? is there any specific test I need for a diagnosis of long covid?
My name is Missi, I'm 57 and had Covid at the end of 2020. I have many issues since having it. Brain fog, no taste or smell, fatigue and a few other things. one thing that I wasn't to ask is does anyone have problems with balance? I don't get dizzy, just off balanced.
