Struggling with Long COVID: Does it ever get easier?

hey all. i was just curious if this ever gets easier? Long covid and complications really lowered my standard of living. Everyone said give it time, give it time but.. I'm giving it time and time's just making me more frustrated, 9 months on.

I hit the 2 yr mark in February it started getting easier I noticed when I was exercising it wasn't as much of a strain, I feel like mine gets worse after I get ill I don't know if that's common but I have noticed a huge difference from when I realised to today.

I've had long covid now for 16 months. Constant headaches, Neuropathy, fatigue, worsening vision. I'm frustrated. Why can't the medical field see that this a very disabling disease? Mental health is diminishing. The Govt caused this by hiding the medical facts regarding covid from the public. They told us the vaccines and boosters would help us but here I am 2 vaccines and a booster and have had covid 19 twice and long covid after the maderna booster. They can't even diagnose long covid. It's a joke and our government should be held accountable for this disease.

Long-covid is like the PTSD of the disease - it’s real in thousands and thousands of people earthwide not just emotional, but physiological - check out survivercorps.com support for long- haulers. different people respond differently to the effects of this virus. I have difficulty walking at night muscle strength is compromised. - I use a walker - my neurologist has checked many things. And it seems to be the only thing left.

If pulmonary rehab is an option where you live, I would highly recommend it. I'm a little over two years out, and that was what helped me the most so far. Even though it focused on what was going on in my lungs, by the end of my 12 weeks, I noticed improvement with other symptoms.

2 full years for me. I’m losing my mind and losing hope the only thing that helps is if I’m completely relaxed and taking care of myself but life is stressful and even driving is difficult for me now so work every day is hard and I just need them to find something soon that can help us all!! 🙏🏼

I'm finding I'm struggling with a lot of things too. I work a sit down job now due to my lungs, get home and am absolutely exhausted like I ran a marathon. Also running into the headaches too. Fingers crossed no other viruses pop up, but I know with my luck...lol I hope your struggle gets easier.
