I have to say that I have to agree about the CBD... well IT was actually causing my O2 to stay so low I was passing out, so I switched to Delta 11. I'm allergic to benadryl and every other otc to sleep, so I just have to basically take my meds and sleep when I can. Then fatigue joins the party and I can't stay awake. AAARRRGGGHH

In addition to what the person above has said, CBD (specifically, I take “Relax Bears” from Green Roads, which you can get online) and melatonin has helped. When it was really bad, I would take these plus Valium.

Personally, I take a minimal amount of sleep meds, but am careful about sleep hygiene. Blue light filter on my phone after 8 p.m. Grayscale after 9 p.m. White noise machine as needed. Do Not Disturb on my phone. (With an emergency override that I shared with my family in case they truly need me.) And I go to bed a full hour and a half before I really HAVE to sleep, to ensure I'm not stressing over being tired the next day.
