Need help with finding foods that aid digestion

Hey yall 🤠 So recently my laxatives arnt wanting to work. I've tried so many types of laxatives and stool softeners, and they just don't work. So I'm trying to find food that makes me go. I have tried so many different foods that haven't worked. But I am trying to hear other foods that help you go. Please leave some suggestions in the comments about things that work for you! 😩

Peppermint for IBS: Does it work?

I’ve heard about peppermint for ibs. I’m having a lot of cramps, but really don’t like the prescription anti spasm meds, they make me feel loopy. I’m new to having ibs-c so I really don’t know anything. How much does peppermint work and how do you take it?

Chronic constipation, bloating, and varicocele - advice needed

Chronic constipation, constant bloating, was diagnosed with IBS-C a few years ago. The discomfort and bloating is pushing on my groin making my genitals shrivel up (killing my libido). I was diagnosed with a varicocele in my left testicle a few years ago as well, oddly enough the abdominal discomfort is also mostly coming from the left side of my descending colon/abdomen. Does anyone have any advice? It can be very miserable at times.

Been suffering from chronic constipation for years. Doctor diagnosed me with IBS-C a few years ago. Never feel emptied out from bowel movements, and pressure from bloating is pushing on my groin, devastating my libido and causing discomfort. Help with Gassy Burping and Explosive Diarrhea

Working with gastroenterologist to determine what causes 1) noxious, gassy, prolonged burping and flatulence, followed within 2-3 hours by 2) explosive diarrhea with 10-15 episodes over next 12 hours until my system is purged. Then I feel fine until next occurrence. 1-2 weeks may go by between these bouts. No pain and no bleeding. Monitoring fodmap diet, BMs and sleep patterns. Suggestions please?

13 Years of Belly Button Pain: Seeking Answers

Hello! I am new to this app. I decided to give it a shot to hopefully connect with others and hopefully get some answers/ info. I am trying to figure out why I have had this pain behind my navel- dead center inside my belly button.. constant dull/ sharp and/or burning pain that goes up and down in severity throughout the day- everyday. For months at a time over the past 13 years now.. occasionally the pain can travel to the testicle area as well.. Has anyone else experienced this pain?
