Struggling to Eat with IBS-C

Does anyone else find it really hard to eat with IBS-C just because when you eat, you get more discomfort and more bloated than before? Or is it just me?

I end up looking pregnant when I get really bad. I switch to an all liquid diet. Bone broth...noooooooooo fiber. Anything to sooth the inflammatory response. Ginger and turmeric in the bone broth. It gets so painful leaning over to tie my shoe or sitting is excruciating. I look like a barrel. Eliminate anything carbonated and anything that will cause fermentation...it adds to the pain.

Yes! I’m hungry but it almost feels like there’s so much poop piled up in me that I couldn’t fit any food in if I wanted! I struggle a lot with bloatedness as well after eating or drinking even just a little. Have you tried hypnotherapy? The app I used is called Nerva and it really helped a few of my symptoms especially when it comes to anxiety and stress management related to conatopation.

Absolutely. I look at food and just think how it's going affect me later. I also struggle with feeling full early. And I'm sick of hearing eat the fiber drink the water. I'm basically on a low fodmap diet and have to cook almost everything I eat.
