I know it's minor, but I've found a steady rhythm helps me sleep. I use the stress/breathing function on my smart watch that vibrates every few seconds with each breath so I slow down and relax, but the Calm app offers the same function for free, only it's a soft sound instead of vibration. My neighbor swears by the meditations for sleep on that app, but personally I felt like it kept my brain running.
