Has anyone gone through a break up that you were able body in the beginning of the relationship and a couple months in you become disabled and chronically Ill. They stay with you but after two years of not recovering, they realize that they don’t want to stay if this will be the rest of our life. Questions of being a disabled parent and income started to be discussed. And finally my partner broke up with me due to my disability. He had been supportive and my rock for two years as I learned to manage it. He worked as best he could to unravel his own ableist mentality but when it came down to it in thinking about his future. He wanted the “traditional” way of having a family. I’m very angry and hurt. But I don’t have anyone to relate with me in this situation. A lot of my family and friends are supportive but no one understands how it feels to have people leave you for something you can’t control and didn’t choose. I’m still me but the chronic illness is like this big monster that scare people away. I know it’s not my fault and that it’s his loss, But it still hurts to be rejected and left because I’m disabled. I was wondering if anyone, Related to this?

No, but I worry about it...I'm so sorry you're going through this. I can't image how painful it is. ❤️
