yes! i did EMDR and when you're doing it, it feels like it should be doing more, but you kind of just have to sit back and almost just watch your mind watch like a movie and just watch where it goes and it does help a lot actually, and i notice i'll have vivid dreams in between sessions that help me work it out too

I’ve done EMDR, DBT before that in prep for EMDR. It does get better! It’s hard work, and the DBT seemed like slow going at first, but I have found EMDR transformative in ways I didn’t even think to hope for. I hope it’s effective for you and remember that if it’s not, especially over time, that there’s nothing wrong with you! You’ll find what works and you’re worth what works for you 💚
