Looking for advice on EMDR therapy for PTSD

Hello! I have been struggling with PTSD (also major depression & anxiety) for years now. I’ve tried a lot of different types of therapies over the years, most recently I did therapy groups specifically for women who have experienced trauma. It was helpful, but I’m still struggling and feel kind of stuck. Wondering if any of you have done EMDR to work through your trauma? And if so, was it helpful? I’d love to get some real-life perspective on this treatment modality.

I have done EMDR and it's worked well for me... Also cognitive behavioral therapy

I tried it for 6 months. I stopped because I couldn't afford the cost of more visits at the time. It was interesting and I won't forget it. I'm not sure how it works. But I kept an open mind to the process. I think it helped me deal with a couple of feelings and thoughts. But for me it didn't resolve everything. I'm not sure if I had done it longer if it would have helped in more areas. But some improvement is better than none

I’d be curious to know how that works for others too. I’ve heard a couple therapists recommend it to me in the past but I haven’t tried it. Hope you are able to get the answers you’re seeking! If you need someone to vent to or anything feel free to message me!
