      EMDR worked great for me! I was able to get over a phobia of dogs and now I dogsit for a side job! I really recommend it!

      I've done DBT and EMDR. DBT is the main thing that's helped me, but then again I started that in a residential facility so Im sure effects differ when not in one. I've continued DBT with my therapist since and it really does help me be more aware of actualities rather than only focused on my emotions. I've done EMDR probably 4 or 5 times, and I feel like even though I sometimes doubt it's effects, it has worked in getting to the root cause of issues I struggle with, and it provides a lot of insight into my own brain.
