Hi. I am having adrenal fatigue symptoms like joint pain, muscle pain and weakness, brain fog, and weirdly enough my blood pressure is normally around 150/50. There is a 100 point gap which is very odd. Is there anyone who can tell me what I should start doing to heal?
I take hydrocortisone 15mg am and 5 mg afternoon. Also takeFludrocortidone 0.1mg half tab in am. What are you taking, how much and how many times daily?
Hi, everyone! I have secondary adrenal insufficiency due to long term use of prednisone for an autoimmune disease. I really want off the prednisone so my endocrinologist is trying to work with me. She said no promises but we could try. I made it to 5mg okay but when I got to alternating 4 & 5 every other day I started to notice a difference in the way I felt. When I dropped to 4 every day, I have become so sick. I haven’t been able to get out of bed. She had me bump back up to 5. I’m so discouraged, not to mention feel like death. Have any of you experienced this?
Just diagnosed with secondary AI while getting off of long term high dose prednisone. I have been totally out of it cognitively and more than anything, I am in so much pain and have such weakness in my arms hands and legs. It ebbs and flows, but it’s gotten to the point that I can’t even hold a pen. Has anyone had these issues? How did you handle them?
What were your first symptoms and how long did it take you to be diagnosed?
Hi I’m Cris, I was recently diagnosed with addisons and I have to get a medical alert bracelet for it. Has anyone else had to get one?

Does anybody here specifically have Addisons Disease? Particularly primary adrenal insufficiency?
I was diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency 10 months ago. I also have diabetes. I'm on hydrocortisone and fludrocortisone but I am so fatigued all the time that I have to take daily naps. I've experimented with different dosing schedules, different milligram strengths, but nothing except 60 mg a day helps me feel good. I know that its not good to take high doses for very long. I've added multivitamins, b12 vitamins, calcium, d3, and vitamin e. I don't know what to do anymore. Any ideas?
