I am not sure if you are on insulin or metformin, because I know type 2’s can use both, but have you tried a pump? I know steroid highs are the devil and I can not imagine taking them with out pumping.

That sucks Sydney. I'm battling the same problem except I'm a type 2 diabetic that has to take Steroids daily. I don't even eat during the day when I take my Steroids because I don't want my sugar getting too high.

It started out as fatigue that got progressively worse, than hyperpigmentation all over my body and also white splotches. I had to quite my job because I could no longer stand or walk on my own, I threw everything up. I couldn’t stand up in the shower. My legs just gave out. It took a very long time to get doctors to test my ACTH. They did not believe my symptoms. Multiple trips to the ER and hospital stays with no diagnosis. I was misdiagnosed with gastropersis. I had to google my symptoms myself to figure it out and than beg my endocrinologist to test my ACTH. When they finally did it was very high and they apologized for not listening to me. I also have type 1 diabetes.

I’m 18 now but was diagnosed when I was 17 :)

How old are you? It is really hard to deal with. I feel ya!
