I've been having heart problems that my doctors think could be connected to my EDS. I have a normal resting heart rate, but when it raises due to excersice, standing, sneezing, stress etc it goes way too high causing nausea, dizzyness and pre-syncope and has been in the 170s when I'm just walking from one room to the other. I've had my heart rate and blood pressure taken when sitting and standing and they don't think it's postural, so have booked me for a 24hr HR and BP trace. what else could be causing this and what can I do to help calm it down?

I was diagnosed with tachycardia back in 2021 and I don't really know many people who have it. I know it's similar to POTS but not really the same. For me my heart rate is almost always high I'll be sitting down in a cafeteria or whatever and my heart rate will be at 160 I don't know what to do.

I'm really stressed out. I'm wearing one of those heart monitors (for switching cardiologists, the new Dr is just seeing what he's working with, by a few tests); and I forgot I'm sensitive to adhesive. The adhesive on the heart monitor has been bugging me for about 24 hours now and I don't know if I should call my cardiologist about it...

okay so i went to the er a couple years ago and they told me i had tachycardia but it’s always off and on. recently i stopped smoking bc my heart rate would get to 180+. Last week i got sick and now my heart rate gets high just from me standing up and i feel out of breath laying down, my mom thinks it’s just anxiety telling me i can’t breathe and i kind of agree with her, i just don’t know how to tell myself it’s anxiety and get out of my head

I struggle with exercise because I have to sit and take deep breaths after walking for a minute or two. My heart rate will increase so quickly and I get winded so bad. What is a good way for me to exercise without having to deal with this so much?

I haven’t officially been diagnosed. It started with some heart aches not too severe. I noticed on my fit bit bpm 108 when doing nothing. Am a bodybuilder but my diet has been junky. I feel one of my arteries maybe getting clogged. I started water fasting and my heart is under control. Looking to use autopagy to eat up the clog. Been taking Hawthorne, fish oil and cq10 plus spirulina. Not looking for surgery here. Am late 30s done with bodybuilding only light cardio and stict diet for now. What are your experiences?

Hey my name's Natalie I'm 24 and for years have been told it's anxiety. I have 4 kids ages 7-6months. I finally have taken myself to cardiologist after being ignored. I am always having a high heart rate even when sitting down. I constantly feel fatigue and dizzy it's gotten worse within the past 4months. Anyone have advice or any information to share with me please feel free to talk.

Hi I was wondering if anyone else also gets other symptoms such as shortness of breath, exercise intolerance, heat intolerance, lightheadedness, and constant palpitations besides tachycardia? I'm thinking there might be something more going on but not sure what to do, thanks 😊
