Hello I have a mastectomy of my right breast scheduled in a couple of weeks. At the same time, I'll be having a DIEP flap reconstruction. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice about what to expect during the procedure, things to pack and take with me to the hospital that might be helpful, or any tips that saved you during your recovery. Thank you!

I've recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and now I'm really worried about COVID. Should I be more concerned about catching it? I'm already feeling so overwhelmed with my cancer treatment, and the thought of dealing with COVID on top of this is just scary.

New here .I'm currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer and I'm wondering if it's safe for me to get the COVID vaccine. There's so much information out there, and it's a bit overwhelming. Has anyone with breast cancer had the vaccine?

No sugarcoating it, the prognosis is a bit too overwhelming for me. 😰 What questions did you ask your medical team to get a grasp on your prognosis? How did you handle the uncertainty, and any tips for someone trying to wrap their head around what the future holds?

Facing some tough decisions with breast cancer diagnosis. 🤔 Those who've been here, any advice on choosing between lumpectomy and mastectomy? What swayed your decision, and how did you handle the recovery process afterward?

Hi. I finished surgery and radiotherapy for invasive oestregen positive breast cancer, stage 2, a year ago and have been taking Letrozole since. I have sore joints, hot flushes and my dexa scan shows significant bone density loss so I am also now on Alendronic Acid for that. The worst side effect of Letrozole though is I am putting on so much weight! Has anyone else noticed this and is there anything I can do about it?
