I just found out I have afib…. I need to be on blood thinner and I’m so scared. Does anyone have experience with blood thinners?

Making a Decision About Breast Reconstruction

Reconstruction is on my mind. I'm on chemo now I have been advised to make a decision about the right breast. I understand there is no outcome without risk, is it true that removal doesn't better my odds against breast cancer significantly? Does anyone have experience with fat only Reconstruction? Looking for Advice on DCIS Stage 0 Grade 2 Diagnosis

Hi recently diagnosed with dcis stage 0 grade 2. The area is 1.5 cm and scattered calcifications which are cancer not benign. Really don't want a mastectomy. Anyone else have this type of cancer and not have a mastectomy? TIA

Recently Diagnosed with Invasive Breast Cancer

Hello and hope you're being heard! I was just diagnosed with invasive (non estrogen receptive) breast cancer. I'm sorry if that's wrongly stated. I have been having pain and itching since they poke this bear (biopsy/mammo. 6/07/22) I have fibromyalgia and been compartmentalizing pain for 22 yrs. (56) I have been caring for my dad (stroke) 4/21/21, during the investigation of this diagnosis. I know this isn't biopsy pain too long ago now. All literature says no real pain unless inflammatory BC. I have had 3 of 5 diagnostic tests, no mets. Oncology on the 6/30, Chemo for approximately 6 months. Then double mastectomy. Familiar to anyone? Thank you much!

Need advice on Breast Cancer Hormonal Therapy

Hello! I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer on 2021, Stage 1, lymph nodes clear, Er+ Pr+ My oncotype was 23 because I’m pre menopause I had to do chemotherapy and radiation. I just finished both treatments last month and now doctor want me to start hormonal therapy. She gave me two options one take tamoxifen and the other one is suppressed my ovaries and take AI. I really don’t know what to do, I’m still trying to recover from such a traumatic treatments and now decided for something that I have to take for 10 years and I have been hearing so many negatives side effects with hormonal therapy. Can someone please share their experiences with me and what treatment you think is better? Thank you for sharing with me!
