Ive had it twice now. 22 years ago. Stage 1 but almost 2. So lumpectomy, chemo, and radiation (in that order). Then 2 yeats ago, another primary breast cancer in same breast, so pretty much limited to mastectomy. And i fought to get double. Got it. Glad, i had the double; post pathology showed that it had start of cancer too. AWS (lymphatic cording) still being literally a pain, but i do not miss wearing a bra. Went "flat" instead. Strongly recommend genetic testing. 22 yeats ago, there wasnt much besides brca1 and 2. If my first cancer happened now, we would have gone with the double mastectomy (as 37% chance of another breast cancer).
