No sugarcoating it, the prognosis is a bit too overwhelming for me. 😰 What questions did you ask your medical team to get a grasp on your prognosis? How did you handle the uncertainty, and any tips for someone trying to wrap their head around what the future holds?

I was so overwhelmed too. I just needed to know, 'What should I expect in the next few months?' My cats were my comfort - they sense when you’re down, you know? Find comfort in the little things

I felt the same. Asked my doctor, 'What's next?' and 'How does this change my life?' To deal with it, I started walking at night. It’s quiet, peaceful. Helps to clear the mind. it's okay to feel lost sometimes.

One person shared their experience saying, "Got my diagnosis 6 months ago. I wanted to know nothing about my prognosis, so I asked my doctor to tell me nothing and I’ve never googled it. I searched for supporting groups of pancreatic cancer strugglers and started to chat with other people." Another person suggested, "It has really helped me to research and prepare for all the side effects, treatments, symptoms, home remedies, tips, etc. and then to do my best to prepare for those things and stock up on any supplies I might need whenever I’ve gotten a new diagnosis." They also mentioned that feeling prepared and informed helps them feel confident that they can manage their condition.
