I don't know what it is but I feel uncomfortable when I'm trying to sleep, or I wake up feeling uncomfortable like the sleep itself was. It's not like the room is too cold, or bed is too squeaky or anything like that, I just have an uncomfortable, restless feeling. this only started recently. but it's been weeks since I've been able to sleep without some kind of nightmare or weird dream.

I have a bedtime routine that pretty much consists of watching calming shorts about animals to help with racing thoughts, which I've found exacerbate my dreams. I have insomnia, so sometimes it takes forever, but it does help. Maybe find something that calms you without any stress or outside thought and make that part of your nighttime routine.
