I'm currently in a manic episode, and this is my first one in over a year. I'm experiencing psychosis as well and I just don't know what to do. I feel like I'm too much. I feel like I'm broken. I feel like I'm not worthy of love. Please help. What do you do in a manic/psychotic episode to help?

Just take the time to ground yourself, drink calming tea, and get outside for a walk each day. It's okay to feel a little uncomfortable, because that's still normal in this moment ! I am also struggling with a bipolar flare up right now, but it has more depression symptoms. Just make sure to keep things simple, be kind to yourself, and get some sunshine every day ☀️ Also, counseling is okay too, I'm starting again tomorrow for the first time in years 🌻

One user suggests that being around people can help during a psychotic episode as it grounds them. Another user advises not to be hard on oneself and to take time to recover, similar to how one would from a physical illness. It's also suggested to seek professional help such as medication or therapy.
