Hello everyone! I am an 18 year old genderfluid transmasc looking to see about getting a hysterectomy covered by insurance. I have many reasons to want this surgery but the strongest of which is health worries. My mothers side of family has a lot of uterine and ovarian cancers and I'd like a hysterectomy to feel less in danger of those chances. Are there any gynos that reccomened hysterectomies due to health concerns?
Some gynecologists may recommend hysterectomies due to health concerns, especially if there is a strong family history of uterine and ovarian cancers. It's important to discuss your specific situation and concerns with a healthcare professional to determine the best course of action for you.
