Uterine cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of your uterus. It usually happens after menopause. The uterus, or womb, is located in the pelvis and it is the place where a baby grows when a woman is pregnant. There are different types of uterine cancer, the most common one is endometrial cancer, which rise from the cells of the endometrium, the inner lining of your uterus. Like most cancer types, uterine cancer is divided into stages, according to how much it has spread out of the uterus into the rest of your body.

The treatment depends on the type of cancer, its stage and your general health. -*Surgery*- most woman go through a surgery to remove the entire uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. -*Chemotherapy*- medication that will kill cancerous cells or stop their growing. -*Radiation therapy*- high-energy x-rays or other types of radiation used to kill cancer cells or keep them from growing.

Doctor thought I had cervical cancer and now she's leaning more towards **cancer of the uterus**. I see a specialist in a week
I too am going through chemotherapy and for the most part look normal. However, I have bad neuropathy, digestive issues that keep me up most of the night, chemo brain, and a rash that is mostly hidden from my cloths. However, my family and coworkers expect the same energy and output, even though I am exhausted. You can try to explain, but they will never know what goin are going through. Congratulations on no **cancer cells** being detected. I was almost there.
