I have a hereditary bone disease called HME or Osteochondroma, and I want kids, but given that it's a terrible pain that is 50 percent likely to get passed down, I can't. I couldn't ever willingly give my kid pain that they'd have to live with every single day like I had to growing up. Multiple surgeries, and daily meltdowns is suffering I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I just want my DNA changed, or treatment idea for it to be less of a terrible disease to deal with. Is there any way that my kid wouldn't suffer?
