Do I have to take medication to feel "normal"? And would the condition worsen if I am not medicated? Medications made me emotionless before and I didn't really like that but lately my episodes have been more frequent with a lot of manic aggression. Is there a way to find a happy middle ground?

Its best to inform your doctor im bipolar and I get highest moods mania and hyper manic, no lows. That are dangerous i may have depression in the sense of lows. Mine are the harmless kind. Unless its mania ect the high moods they is no safety in my head or an consciousness that thinks things through safely or cautiously. Im on an antipsychotic: Olanzopean 5 mg maybe give it a try or keep trying. The right combo matters and dose. I once thought about loosing me. But its not possible with the right dr or med combo

Based on the shared experiences, some individuals have found that medication helps them manage their symptoms and feel more "normal". However, others have reported feeling emotionless or experiencing other side effects. It's important to communicate with your healthcare provider about your concerns and experiences, as they can adjust dosages or try different medications to find a balance that works for you. If you stop taking medication, there is a risk of symptoms worsening or becoming more frequent, but this varies from person to person.
