I found that I love sugar free jello and cool whip for a "sweet treat" and other sugar free snacks that the store has that I can knock out a craving if I must eat sweets but try the jello and cool whip 😋 it's delicious!

I treat myself, but only out of the house. I don't bring sweets home anymore. I also use an appetite suppressant which has helped alot to curb cravings.

Definitely true if you make yourself suffer you can morr easily over endulge when you break. Just listen to yourself and give limits. For example if you really want ice cream get ice cream but in a bowl and not eat from the container cause we all know most of not all that container will be gone lol... and if you like syrups only drizzle it not cover it. You don't need all of that none of us needs it. And even maybe if you ask yourself do you really NEED it or do you just want it might help. You got to love your full self enclosing cravings @ times so you don't go cray cray lol. It's very hard to make life changes but 1 change @ a time every single day for 2 weeks becomes easier if not habit as they say. For me I think more like 4 weeks. But I get bored easily and always have to change what I'm doing.

I try to substitute it with fruit & dark chocolate. 70% or more dark chocolate is actually healthy for you.

I have the same issue. I've been trying to substitute with fruit. It's not always worked but I'm trying.

Yes those suggestions are wonderful. I just learned something else that might help... if you have that wicked sweet tooth and you just know you need alot lol... try just dipping the tip of your finger in some sugar 2-3 times and that can curve and trick your brain. I drink liquid iv, which essentially is a sugar electrolight mix so I haven't tried this yet but everything I consume about has sugar... a good orange or yogurt does help me from going to whip cream... or ice cream lol. I started useing a light whip cream to try to help. Sometimes does.

I saw a recipe where someone got a container of low fat cool whip and mixed in a box of sugar free pudding mix and froze it. She said that it tastes just like ice cream and helped her lose over 30 lbs by replacing her candy and sweets with several spoonfuls of that.

Maybe find alternatives to sweets that are healthier or sugar free? Fruits or yogurt, Outshine bars; stuff like that.

For me it was buying a bag of candy, eating the recommend amount on the bag and hiding the rest or portioning it out per day.
