I have a sweet tooth bad and even though I know I’m diabetic I still indulge. How can I kick or work on my sugar cravings?

Honestly for me there have been 2 things that worked best: 1) I have cut out sugar completely in the past, and suffered through a couple weeks of cravings, but after the initial withdrawal is over I find that the natural sweetness in many nuts and fresh fruits totally satisifes me. 2) It still impacts blood sugar, but a banana or sugar free chocolate pudding with sugar free coolwhip is a good cravings crusher. Also there are quite a few keto sweets out there now, which are really low carb and usually really satisfying.

I use chia pudding with fruit or dark chocolate and walnuts. It helps curb hunger and satisfies the craving for something sweet

@patd42 I can dig the dark chocolate but is the chia putting with the whole seeds. Idk chia isn’t one of my favs. I only throw them in smoothies

@xSkyGemx yes, whole seeds are used. I let it soak up the milk over night, the texture is similar to tapioca pudding..

I crave those sets after I eat a meal. Can't quit the craving. I'm discovered sugar free chocolate which is delicious, my brain tells me... IT'S NOT THE SAME
