    Go slow cutting out sugar unless you're the kind of person who can handle that big of a change all at once. You could look into using sugar substitutes like monk fruit or stevia. Or, try sugar free candy. It has a built in deterrent so you won't eat wayyyyy too much: sugar alcohols. When you eat too many, they will give you cramping in your belly and diarrhea. I buy those and eat no more than 3 a day for the aforementioned reason. Hope this helps!
