      Peeling oranges, knitting/fiber arts, and some mindless crafting activities can be good grounding exercises sometimes! Also, having a pet helps me a lot. It relieves a lot of the issues that come up from being alone without the added complexity/stress of people sometimes, and the tasks/feelings involved in caring for an animal (even my little mouse) can be really grounding

      Getting myself to laugh whole heartedly snaps me out of episodes of depersonalization.

      Personally I feel more “intact” and here when my husband or someone I’m really close to squeezes me really tight, it also helps me with overstimulation and anxiety
