Has anyone consulted with a nutritionist to help determine what foods/nutrients your body needs most? Was it ultimately beneficial?

I’ve been on the Ketogenic diet for two years now and it definitely helps with inflammation. But ask your doctor or buy a kit. Try removing things from your diet see if it helps.

I believe that what works for one person will probably not work for the next.. but I made some dietary changes in order to handle my EDS GI symptoms. I am trying to eat less gluten because it causes inflammation, I drink more water, I try not to eat processed food and instead eat mostly fresh food. Also and very important is that I started taking probiotics which has a huge effect on my various GI ailments

I have gastroparesis and it was very helpful, some of my labs actually improved some for it.

I have a dietician but that’s for my eating disorder recovery. She does give me tips for reducing possible inflammation since those markers are high on my blood work.

My nutritionist also recommends taking probiotics. She also encouraged me to eat more fiber, green vegetables, and grains. She also recommends avoiding empty carbs and sugars.

i’ve been working with a nutritionist for over a year due to my eating disorder and she always emphasizes that it’s a balance to make sure your body has all it needs to support itself. so it’s less about the foods themselves and more about your body having the energy and nutrients it needs to function it’s best

I take probiotics because I heard that it can be beneficial to people with GI problems like I have because of my EDS. You can also eat yogurt or pickles.
