does anyone take prednisone to break migraines? do you find you feel the best when you are on it? like the best ever, the most functional?

I take prednisone for my asthma, not my migraines, but it does help with my migraines and I do feel way more functional on it. I just got a new prescription for it and have been teetering back and forth whether I should or not take it because I just took a large 2 week taper dose pack about a month ago. With all of the daily pain I go through, it's tempting just to get some relief but I know how bad it is for my body, so I don't know what to do.

I have had migraines for over half of my life and it is not enjoyable. To have something that helps dangled and you can't take it because it will make your body worse in other ways, just sucks.

@BinoVert it's so miserable. I'm so over it. I've had this migraine for over a month before finding out my eustation tube isn't working and I might need a tube in my ear. I guess its good it might be able to be fixed, the pred helped of course, but I've only got 2 days left.. then I'm waiting on otolaryngology

@BinoVert agreed. There's a fine line for sure. I wish there was a better way.. or another medication that wasn't so brutal on the body
