does anybody know what could help my daily migraines? I have neck pain and a strong ache/pressure behind my eyes. nothing seems to help. I was always told to drink water and rest but I go to sleep with it and wake up with it. it's to the point I have like 5-8 days a month without a migraine. I started having migraines when I was 8 and I'm 26 now. thank you.

@BinoVert yes I've been on prednisone to break the migraine if my nurtec doesn't help. And toridol inj from neuro are the best!!

I take over the counter meds now at total maxed doses just to deal with my daily things and get the edge off. I've had them for so long and have tried so many scripts for migraine prevention and pain and none worked. Since I have had asthma though, when my pulmonologist puts me on large tapers of prednisone when Im going through asthma attacks and that seems to help some with my migraines. Not a good idea to be on if you have no reason, but it does seem to help surprisingly, not sure why.

I have found relief w dry needling and cupping through physical therapy. You can get the cups on amazon for way cheap and use them at hone as well

My doctor had me try Qulipta, and it has helped so much! It's a once a day pill to help prevent migraines

@animals137 I'll look into that, thank you. I have to find a new doctor bc mine retired. I have sumatriptan but it doesn't help much. It makes it bearable but makes me soo nauseous and then I still feel like poo because of the nausea. I just can't win. Lol.

@TiffLiLiLu sumatriptan worked for me for like 1 year then stopped. Migraines run in the family. I'd miss school and had hospital stays lasting over a week just to be put on DHE and valproic acid. Not sure the names are correct but the first was back in 10th grade. I'm now 28 and still having a battle with them. There are so many triggers. I am now on emgality and so far it is great. It is like the 10th thing we've tried since 2009. On bad days it is a combo of my chronic migraines and my fibromyalgia at the same time which warrants the use of my prescribed percocet just to make the day bearable. What are some of your triggers that make yours worse? I feel your pain and i so wish that you find something and that a new doctor is more helpful. More and more treatments are coming out so i hope to see an update from you saying you're doing better šŸ¤—šŸ™

@TiffLiLiLu I totally understand that! Sumatriptan made me nauseous too, and so did nurtec
