Just started taking prednisone and i’ve been having just horrible headaches and I was wondering if this is part of the medication or some other factor.

The Predisone did that to me a lot, plus would make me feel nauseous! I try my best not to take it, but if I did...Plenty of water and food on my stomach prior to taking it!

The only issue I had with Prednisone was difficulty sleeping at first. At night it would keep me awake and in the morning, right after I took it (I take it with breakfast) I would be really fatigued, but all that leveled out over time

Oh the miserable prednisone! I get so hot and my face is round…moon face is what we call it. And headaches and I’m ravenous with hunger! My transplant team is weening me off it now as my most recent labs show I’m not in mild liver rejection anymore. There are a lot of icky side effects with prednisone unfortunately. Have you talked to your doctor to see if there is something they can do?

Hey, what works better for me is to eat first before taking prednisone but talk to your doctor, perhaps it's too strong of a milligram.

I get super fat and hot like burning up from my prednisone. I have chronic migraines not sure if it is the stress of my body or prednisone that causes it!
