I've been diagnosed with bipolar when I was about 14 and I was on meds but not anymore. I do fine most of the time and im always aware of when I'm in a manic or depressive episode. the one only problem I have is that I don't have any coping mechanisms to help during those times.

I have a pair of bone conduction headphones I wear ALL the time. Music has been a great coping skill for me along with Journaling.

singing helps me along with listening to music. when im really breaking down and im in the stages of realizing i was wrong, i have to cool myself down before going to talk to that someone again, i think about what im going to say and practice when i should just keep silent to save myself more stress and a bad attitude, bc the last thing i want when im confused and angry is someone up my butt with a bad attitude trying to make me apologize too soon

Try to Google all kind of coping skills. The more that you know the better. You may find you only like a few of them. Good luck

Running is changing my life, sounds triste but it’s true, it’s been painfully hard to start but I am beginning to say the results

I walk a lot, it helps even around the house. Or if you can, talking with people helps me, it's a big distraction
