How not to be so irritable to the point where you pick fights with every person who loves you? Asking for a friend 🥲

I honestly live by saying nothing until you're calmer. I get irritated so easily that I've made the people that are frequently around me love to argue too. I just walk away when I need to.

^ i think also, to add on to all these comments which are v helpful, just thinking before speaking and also if it’s worth getting worked up over. ESP if it’s something that is hurting ourselves too. sometimes we’re the cause of our own stress which is a sub-factor in our physical and mental health problems. so like, not only thinking of the other person but also questioning is it worth my emotions, my time, my energy, my health, to get worked up like this? it’s very draining i assume, and claiming that negative energy and negative emotions daily can be unhealthy and deteriorating. i think it all comes down to mindset + perception.

i usually give myself space and allow myself to calm down until i'm ready to speak without fear! it's also good to walk away to prevent saying anything you might regret, it's easier than saying something you don't mean.
