(Pots vent? Massive flare-up, don’t know why) My pots symptoms have gotten 1000x worse lately and I’m not sure why. I haven’t really changed anything, same level of activity and same supplements. It’s been hard for me to stand and usually I can push past the passing out feeling but now I have to sit down immediately. It’s making it hard to keep my space clean because it’s every time I stand and I haven’t taken a shower in a week because I’m too exhausted and worried I’ll pass out. Plus I’m always shaking and have constant heat flashes (but I live with a roommate that likes a warm apartment and doesn’t take my conditions seriously). My IBS is raging rn too. I could go on and on though it’s like every symptom I’ve ever had is turned up to 150% today. Idk if it’s the change of weather or what but this is one of the worst flare ups I’ve ever had. Anybody have tips on managing or willing to share things that have caused their own flare ups in the past?

Have you been tested by a neurologist for anything? The dysautonomia sounds like it’s getting worse. I have what’s called a demeylinating disease. Destroying all the myelin of my nerves. Polyneuropathy with small fiber neuropathy being the worst & most painful. I have to take baths in cook water. Can’t stand to shower. Also if my chance you have a demeylingating disease, the heat can make everything flare & get worse

@QTpie7260 hm no I’ve never thought to go to a neurologist, thank you for sharing! I’m going to look into that after I get the results of my thyroid screening

Some suggestions for managing POTS flare-ups include resting more, focusing on slowing your breathing, rehydrating, and checking if your surroundings are too hot. Gentle cardio exercises like using a recumbent bike and staying consistently hydrated can also help over time. It's important to consult with your doctor about your symptoms and potential triggers, as they may be able to provide additional guidance or medication adjustments.
