Just found out I have a 2cm "minimally complicated left ovarian cyst." Of course I cannot get into the doctor's to discuss it for over a month. Any thoughts on its seriousness or treatments? (even based on. your own experience).

I’ve had ovarian cysts for as long as I can remember. About 6 months ago, my doctors found a paratubal cyst (a cyst that forms in your fallopian tube) as they were doing ultrasounds and other things for a possible endometriosis diagnosis. Anyone else have any experience with paratubal cysts? The doctor said the only way to get rid of it is to surgically remove it, but that feels like a big risk if I don’t have to, especially because it’s still pretty small. However it causes me a decent amount of pain especially during my endo flare ups. I’m 24 and have no idea what I want for my life and I feel like I have to start thinking about and making choices regarding things I don’t feel ready to tackle.

i had an ovarian cyst burst about a month ago (actually the worst pain i’ve ever experienced) is there a possibility i have more? i’m so scared to go to the gyno and i haven’t let any doctors see my private areas. i’m just really scared to go through that pain again.

My mother has endometriosis and I have some similar symptoms for it like heavy bleeding, irregular periods, ovarian cysts. I was wondering how the best way to handle it after diagnosis was. I have my OBGYN appointment next week so I want to make sure I know what all I’m in for

I have been diagnosed with having small ovarian cysts for the past year and a half. I have days of pain, as well as somewhat normal feeling days during the month, and I have noticed a pattern in my days with pain. They are usually right before my period, and about 5 days around ovulation time. Does anyone else relate to this pain/pattern situation? Also, besides pain, do you notice any other recurring symptoms with your cysts (gastro issues)?

I have had on and off ovarian pain for a year and a half now and been told by a couple different doctors that I have a couple small cysts. Does anyone else have reoccurring ovarian pain with their cysts that seem to form a pattern? I’ve been tracking my painful days, and they seem to be right before my period, and then again for a few days during ovulation. Also, if you do have pain, do you experience other symptoms?

What symptoms would indicate that I should get a checkup (before it's emergent)

Hey, I’ve had multiple radiology techs tell me my so called ovarian cyst looks like a tumor. One doc told me no follow up needed and another said to call if I’m in severe pain. Do you need to have a biopsy to know for sure if it’s either a cyst or a tumor? Thanks 💕
